Limestone and general stones have tiny micro-holes and ridges on their surfaces, that over time will retain moisture, leading to damage, and it will be difficult to remove those stains.

Maltese stone sealer | VP-1 seals these pores and creates a protective barrier that ensures lasting beauty on the wall.

The solution you need.

Dark algae-based and fungus stains on walls are very common. And while they don’t necessarily damage the stone they live on, mold spores can become unsightly and downright ugly.

? PRIOR APPLICATION ?

1. Before applying Maltese stone sealer | VP-1, the surface should be cleaned of dirt, dust, patina, loose elements, salt efflorescence, and residues of paint coats.
2. Any adjacent substrate not being treated with the product must be protected. 
3. Never apply on a wet substrate. The product can be used on a slightly damp substrate; nonetheless, please ensure that the stone substrate to be treated is as dry as possible.
4. The substrate should not be displayed in direct sunlight and rainfall at the time of application.

Note.  Impregnation should not be performed on surfaces with high salinity, as this may lead to the intensification of the crystallization process of construction salts and the destruction of the substrate material.

?‍♂️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTION ?‍♂️

Maltese stone sealer | VP-1 is a ready-to-use product. DO NOT DILUTE.

1. It may be applied using a low-pressure spray, brush, or roller.
2. Apply the product generously and evenly to the entire area until the surface is saturated. Repeat the action several times depending on the attributes and porosity of the surface by the “wet on the wet” method.
3. Subsequent applications MUST be “wet on wet” within 10 minutes of the previous application. Do not allow the substrate to dry between applications.
4. Depending on the properties and porosity of the protected substrate, the above procedure should be repeated 2 or 3 times.
5. During sealing and immediately after their completion, the freshly impregnated surfaces should be protected against direct sunlight and precipitation for a minimum of 5 hours.

? RECOMMENDATIONS ?

• Do not allow the applied product Maltese stone sealer | VP-1 to dry between applications.
• Do not apply during rain or frost and when surface and air temperature is < 5°C and > 30°C.
• All surfaces must be treated to saturation in 1-3 “wet on wet” applications to ensure 100% product efficacy. This varies with the substrate, and treating a small trial area is recommended to calculate true consumption.
